“Voriconazole 200MG Injection”- Vorier 200mg injection is an antifungal medicine that contains a strong ingredient called Voriconazole. It belongs to the medication class known as fungal ergosterol synthesis inhibitor. It is suggested to treat, life-threatening fungal infections and reduce for high-risk individuals, including those who have undergone bone marrow transplantation. Don’t give this medicine to children especially those who are younger than 2 years of age.
Do not take this medicine if you have an allergy to Voriconazole or other medical ingredients. Before taking Voriconazole 200mg injection, it is important to notify your doctor if you have had an allergic reaction to other azoles, suffer from or have a history of liver problems, or have cardiomyopathy, irregular heartbeat, slow heart rate, or an abnormality of the electrocardiogram (ECG) called ‘long QTc syndrome’. Additionally, it is important to avoid sunlight and sun exposure during this course and protect the skin with cloth, and use high-SPF sunscreen. Children should also follow these instructions. These are some common side effects include fever, rash, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, swelling of the extremities, stomach pain, and breathing difficulties.
While using this medicine, quickly informs your doctor if you suffer from sunburn, severe skin rash or blisters, bone pain, signs of adrenal insufficiency (chronic fatigue, muscle weakness, appetite loss, weight loss, constipation, food poisoning), or signs of Cushing’s syndrome (increase in weight, fatty hump, circle face, darkened skin, thinning skin, easy bruising, diabetes, large hair growth, high sweating). Inform your doctor if you have a known intolerance to certain sugars before taking Voriconazole 200mg injection because this medicine contains lactose.
Voriconazole 200mg injection works by stopping the production of ergosterol, disrupting fungal cell membranes, and leading to cell death, immediately removing the infection.
Voriconazole 200mg Injection belongs to the class of medicines known as ‘antifungal agents’, used to treat a broad range of fungal infections, including aspergillosis (a disease caused by Aspergillus), candidiasis (fungal infection caused by yeast), coccidioidomycosis (an infection caused by the fungus Coccidioides), histoplasmosis (an infection caused by a fungus called Histoplasma), and penicilliosis. It also effectively treats CNS fungal infections transmitted by epidural injection of contaminated steroids. On the other hand, it can stop or reduce fungal infections in people undergoing bone marrow transplants. Vfend 200mg Injection works by killing or preventing fungi or yeast by inhibiting an enzyme in fungi responsible for its normal fat metabolism, thereby interfering with the fungal cell membrane formation.
