COMMON

• Metallic after taste, dry mouth
• Headache, vertigo
• Muscle rigidity

• Ataxia (disturbed coordination, balance, and speech)
• Loss of appetite, nausea, diarrhea, vomiting

RARE

Stop receiving ORNIDAZOLE INFUSION and contact your physician immediately if you experience any of the following side effects:

• Rigidity, poor coordination
• Seizures
• Loss of consciousness
• Allergic reactions 

MISSED DOSE

Take the missed dose as soon as possible. If you are very close to your next scheduled dose then the missed dose can be skipped.

Warnings for special population

Pregnancy

This medicine is not beneficial for pregnant ladies. If pregnant ladies take this medicine so stop taking it can harm your children. Take a prescription to your healthcare professional before taking this medicine.

Breast-feeding

This medicine is not beneficial for those ladies who are breastfeeding. It cannot be beneficial for your children. Consult your doctor and take proper prescription before taking this medicine.

General warnings

Renal/Hepatic impairment

This medicine should be used with proper safety for patients having a problem with kidney/liver function. Use is not recommended if the disability is severe. The appropriate dose of medicine and more frequent observation are advised if the disablement is mild to moderate.

Epilepsy

This medicine should be used with proper safety for patients suffering from epilepsy or other major disorders.

Multiple sclerosis

This medicine should be used with extreme caution if patients suffer from this deterioration disorder of the brain.

Drowsiness
